Meg + Alex
We thoroughly enjoyed helping Meg and Alex execute their vision for an evening that was wonderfully unique and personalized. No detail was left untouched! From crest banner and tea towels, to a miniature pony and donkey to greet guests upon arrival, the evening was customized to reflect this couple perfectly! Although there was the threat of a hurricane dampening their plans, Meg and Alex didn’t let it overshadow their celebration in tying the knot. They embraced Hurricane Florence head on, creating the speciality drink, “Hurricane Grymes” (the couples married name) and making a no “hurrihang-over” station. How fun!
The weather luckily held out and the couple was even able to enjoy a horse and carriage ride to the reception, taking in the beautiful views as they made way to The Country Club of Virginia, Westhampton Course. As the couple was announced, a brass trio led them down the stairs into the ballroom making for a energetic, grand entrance to the party! As the festivities continued, dance props passed added to the fun on the dance floor, and we can’t forget the late night snacks that kept the guests “wow’d” all night. The couple exited under a shower of rose petals, and drove off to meet their guests at the Continental for an afterparty. Oh, what a night!
Congratulations Meg and Alex! We wish you the best!
